    Dr. Dye, I’ve been tremendously enjoying this series. I do habe a burning question regarding the tempatation of Yeshua. I confess I am now feeling a little confused, and perhaps you can bring clarification.

    Are you saying the temptation by the adversary is only an allegory or a picture? Did the temptation not truly occur? If it did truly occur, then who is the adversary? Was it just Yeshua’s inner turmoil of the mind and human desires tempting Him? Or was there an actual adversary tempting him? I understand your point about the adversary being a picture for Pharaoh, but since its not likely a literal Pharoah was following Him about, then who or what exactly is the adversary, practically speaking, in this scenario?
