Early Morning Blessings

This series looks at the early morning blessings in the Hebrew prayer book starting with "Mah Tovu" which means morningblessings"How Goodly" and which recalls the tents of Jacob. The prayer speaks of entering into the House of the Lord because this is the place the glory of God resides. The series continues with a variety of prayer and concludes with the service for the incense and explains how we welcome God our King and show Him honor.

Dr. Dye I was listening to your second teaching about the the fourth day. Can you tell me where you got the fourth day? Reason is because on Bereshith 22: 4 saids the 3rd day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place from a distance. Can you explain this to me. I love your teachings. Thank you..

Thanks David – you will have to refresh my memory. I don’t remember exactly what I said. If I recall I read somewhere that the rabbis thought there were three complete days and then it was on the fourth. Diana
