Very good message with a lot of history for us to know.
Thanks again for your work in giving us so much truth of the history and of our Lord and King.
Something I think about is could this also be a place where the set up for a King was established. The first one being Soul. Just some thoughts.
It is an important place in relationship to the kingdom. For example, Jacob sent out his son Joseph from Hevron to go find his brothers in Genesis 37. Before he does that the text describes the dream Joseph had where the sun, moon and stars were bowing down to him. Joseph looks for them where they are pasturing the sheep. “Green pastures” is an idiom for the Temple. Lots of connections to that spot.
